“Educators engage in professional learning”
Professional learning takes many forms and is a never-ending pursuit. If I read one book a week for the rest of my life, I will have read roughly 1000 books. which comprises less than a single shelf in the Prince George Public library. While books over a limitless trove of (potentially) useful information, I find working in groups with other teachers is the best way to implement and improve on my practice. Hearing what worked of failed for a teacher can save me dozens of hours in prep. More importantly I’ve made it my goal to share anything and everything I can with my peers. Teachers and students aren’t competing against each other, we are working towards a shared future.
